Agenda and Previous Minutes

Rob Shane, TU’s Mid-Atlantic Organizer, works to build awareness and advocacy on the impacts of the Marcellus shale boom on the region’s wild trout populations. He will speak about wild trout stream protections, natural gas development, and the Clean Water Act as well as what TU is doing and how volunteers can help the cause. Although just recently joining the Mid-Atlantic Policy Team, Rob has worked for Trout Unlimited for the past two and a half years as the Volunteer Operations Coordinator at the national office in Arlington, Virginia. He has been a conservationist all his life and an avid fly angler since landing his first fish on a fly rod, a Steelhead on Pennsylvania’s own Elk Creek, as young teenager.
